DeleteI agree with Faith that this is a very inspiring video and we should all take something away from it. It’s not a matter of how powerful you are or how many people follow you. As Malala said, “One child, one teacher, one book and one pen” is all it really takes to change the world. We cannot run away from change because it is always coming. Similarly, we cannot fear the future because it is inevitable. Malala is an inspiration for not just young Muslim girls, like me, but for everyone. She has picked up important character traits such as forgiveness, patience, etc. from iconic figures such as MLK Jr., Mother Theresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and her parents. Just at age sixteen, she had such an impact and it shows how important it is to stand up and speak out about what you believe in.

DeleteThis video was quite eye-catching. I had heard about Malala Yousufazi before but it was not the same without this video. I do completely agree with Faith, she is a very inspirational woman and I am sure many young girls all over the world, including myself will look up to her. It is not just the fact that she was shot by Taliban and recovered but the fact that this happened because she wanted women to have a good education in her country. She is one of the few people I know about that have fought so hard for this. What's more is that the Taliban did not succeed. "They thought that the bullet would silence us but they failed..." This takes so much bravery and courage to do. She did not let the Taliban feel accomplished one bit. She still fought for education for all people. This takes so much bravery and courage to do. I wish one day, I would learn to be courageous like Malala Yousufazi.

DeleteThis video was a girl named Malala Yousafzai speaking about her life experiences, and her recover after being shot in the head by Taliban. This video to me was very inspiring, considering what she has had to go through just so she can get others a better education. She wanted to get girls to be able to have a fair life, and great education, and gave up so much for that. It is amazing to see just one person make a huge difference in the world. During her speech, she said many inspiring things such as why the Taliban shot her and her friends, and why she was so committed to this fight. First off, she believe the Taliban were afraid of what women, and education could do for the world. They were scared that women would be able to become in charge, and do what they believe is right. Men have always been in charge, and to hear a woman sticking up for the rights she would have had all these years was eye-opening, and really showed me that just one person can do for this world. Education is something that all of us can say that we take for granted. As American students, education is given to all of us, and is not modified due to the gender we are known for. This makes us blind to the importance of education, and how lucky we actually are to have such a great school and education. It is extremely sad to know that the kids of our generation are skipping school just because they do not want to go, and there are other kids around the world that would do anything to just spend one minute in a school. To know that Malala got shot in the head, and could have possibly died because of something we take for granted can really get us to appreciate our schooling. I know that I am grateful for every second of education I get, even though it could be boring, or hard sometimes. Furthermore, in language arts, my class is reading a book Malala wrote, and so far it has been a very good book. That is what inspired me to write a blog about this topic. One of the people she talks about that supports her the most is her father. She has said many times that her father wants her to have a great education, succeed, and fly like a bird. This is awesome because he is a man, and believes in the rights of all women, and what they should be able to do in life. Everyone is human, and nobody can say that a man is greater than a woman because of what parts she has, or how she lives her life. Being a girl, I believe that I have the same potential as a boy, and should be treated with the same respect, and be given the same chances in life. If I want to join the army, I should be allowed to join the army. If I want to become a mechanic, then I should be allowed to be a mechanic. Finally, if I want to play on an all-boy team, and be the only girl, I should not be judged for it, and be told that I will get hurt or be terrible. I have the same abilities that a boy can have, and can take being knocked down by boys bigger than me. I am a strong independent girl, and that is what Malala wants al girls to feel like, along with having the ability to have an acceptable education. Hopefully her speech has encouraged many girls around the world to stick up for themselves.

ReplyDeleteThis video is about Nintendo’s new console that was announced in mid October. It is called the Nintendo Switch which is a very fitting name for this unique console. If you watched the video you will understand that there is not any console like this. The Playstation 4 and Xbox One are just like their predecessors. The difference is that they are faster and have better graphics. The Switch is different from the Wii U. The Switch is like a fusion of a handheld and a console. You can play it on the TV and if you take it out of the charging dock it becomes portable and you can play it on the screen. The Switch is a kind of like a tablet in looks. When you take out the Joy-Cons, which are the controllers, you can attach it to the console and now you can play it on the go and you don’t have to be by your TV. When it is like that, it looks like the Gamepad which is part of the Wii U. You can also use the Joy-Cons by itself without its grip and if it is not attached to the console. You can use both sides for single player and use one if you want to play with your friend. I think Switch is a very fitting name because you can switch from TV mode to going on-the-go in a matter of seconds. You can switch the use of the Joy-Cons from using the grip, to attaching it to the console, to using them both separately, to sharing them with a friend. This is a very interesting and new concept compared to the rising popularity of virtual reality. I think it looks good and can be very useful because you can play large games which are normally played using TVs and play those on the go which you cannot do with the 3DS. I feel like this console could appeal to a lot of people because of this. I know I wouldn’t want to sit in front of my TV all day, I would like to take these same games on-the-go and I know a lot of people would too.
#1: I agree with Joshua when he says that the Nintendo Switch is a big step forward in video gaming. A lot of people might laugh when I say this, but I think video gaming is a community. It is also becoming a lot more normal to like video games. The social norm is no longer sports and laughing at ‘nerds’ but it is doing whatever you like. This relates to the Nintendo Switch because it combines a home console and a handheld console. This is very unique. It one, saves money and two, allows you to enjoy video games with your friends. You don’t have to buy a 3ds, and Xbox, a Playstation, a Wii to enjoy all the games that what Nintendo is trying to accomplish. Personally, I am really excited and I really can’t wait to get one.

ReplyDeleteOut of all the many, many videos in the entire cyberspace, now I’m talking millions and millions of videos, I chose this one. Undoubtedly, we may all have different viewpoints of what is interesting to us, and our definitions of intriguing may be completely and utterly different. But, I hope that this video is at least a little eye-widening and that you might learn something new. Now, although we live in this world, most of us don’t know what this world is actually made up of or what’s outside of it. I hope that this video expands the view we have of our universe.
DeleteThe reason I chose this video was because I learned a lot. I never knew about how big our universe really is. Of course, we learn astronomy in class but nowhere near how much I learned in those 3+ minutes. There is always room to learn more and to absorb more knowledge because our brains are like sponges. I also chose this video because I thought that it was something that my peers would be fascinated by or that they might want to learn more about. I feel that my fellow classmates will really like this video because it shows us the bigger picture of the entire universe. Plus, its science related and I think that most of us enjoy learning about this topic. I know that after watching this video, I had a better outlook on life and the universe as we know it.
I find this video extremely interesting because it shows how small we are compared to the entire universe. Many times, we become so focused on the little things in life such as who said something mean about us or what will happen if we messed up on one little test, that we don’t realize how truly grateful we should be. As people who live in the tiny state of New Jersey, we are a part of a country, a continent, planet, solar system, galaxy and universe. And out of all of these beings, we live on the only planet with human life (well, we don’t know about aliens yet, but we’re still looking). Sometimes, I’ll find myself thinking, what if we aren’t the only living and breathing human forms of life. What if in another galaxy, far, far away there is another species of human form and to them, we are the aliens. We have so much more to discover about the world around us and there is so much more to explore and find out. With the coming age of new technology and ways to research and observe other planets, we can learn so much more. I just feel so thankful to even be a tiny dot in this huge system of planets, stars and galaxies.
I really enjoy learning about our universe and what’s around us because it’s so interesting. There is so much that we don’t know and so much more for us to find out about the galaxy. It’s important for us to learn this because it gives us a better view of our universe and shows us how everything in this world has a place no matter how big or small.
I have seen some videos like this before. It makes me always wonder how Earth was even created. When I was little, I thought that The Sun was the biggest star in the world, I did not have any clue that our galaxy was so huge, and that there are billions of galaxies in the world. When I always the fact that we aren't even close to being the biggest solar system in the world, I think about the fact that there may be millions of planets that may be able to sustain life. This is a very amazing fact because it unlocks the possibilities of there being a parallel universe in this existence. You start having questions like what if there is a planet with has humans just like us? I think that her video was on a really interesting topic.

DeleteI enjoyed watching this video for a multitude of reasons. For one, I just like space, and the enormous amount of knowledge we could possibly learn from space. Another reason I like this video is because of how much it demotes the human population. The human race has always thought of ourselves as a superior animal on the planet. We think are so great because we can make cars that pollute the air, machines that rob the earth of it's minerals, and machines that can cut down trees and destroy the environment. This video shows us how small and insignificant we really are in the big picture and how the forces of the universe will always dominate us. This is why I enjoyed watching this video.

DeleteWhen I saw Saniya's video, I actually found it humorous in a kind of way. Let me explain. When I finished viewing the video, I found it amazing that we are so focused on ourselves and things that we are doing. We are but a tiny miniscule part of the planet Earth, and Earth is but a grain in the sense of the universe. We are all so focused on ME, MYSELF, AND I without ever looking at the bigger picture. I found that humorous at how we can be self-involved with our own problems and insignificances, that we are not even aware of our life passing us by. This video really put the world in perspective for me, kind of like a reality check. Overall, I enjoyed watching this video, and I feel as if the message it is conveying is an important one. Do not get too caught up in your problems. They will all end one day.

DeleteAfter watching this video, my perspective on Space will be forever changed. Before, I though of Earth as just a planet that is in a galaxy, but now I am even more thankful to be living on this planet. Compared to the whole area of space, we are not even the size of a needle point, and the only thing people care about is what new shoes they are getting. We are all so lucky to be living on Earth right now, and that video really does prove why. Also, this video can really get you to thinking that if just the things scientists have found is so big, how much more could there really be out there that we haven't found yet? There could be so many more galaxies like ours, and maybe even more planets that can hold life like us. Finally, I am more thankful for the life I have, and Earth as it is. Us humans really need to take care of the Earth more because it could be gone as quick as a flash. This video was very interesting to watch, and thank you Saniya for opening my eyes to the other things around us

DeleteThis video does an excellent job at portraying how small we really are. Comparing the earth to the sun was enough to me but it kept on continuing. Showing how small our sun is compared to the biggest and then our solar system to the galaxy. This video just blows my mind. Everyone is so focused on themselves and what celebrities does but this video showed me how insignificant we must be because there probably are tons more life forms in space that might be more advanced than us. Overall this video made me feel like a fly, tiny and insignificant.

DeleteAfter viewing the video Saniya posted, my perspective on Space, and my place in it has changed tremendously. Sure we've all learned about the planets in our solar system and outer space in science class, but, in this 3 minute video I've learned more than I ever had in school. One of the first parts was the Earth being compared to our Sun. That picture alone was very surprising. Then the video went on and pictures of other Suns, comparisons between planets, and galaxies appeared. From there, I was truly amazed. At the end when they started with a clip of Earth and zoomed out until local superclusters, I was beyond amazed. This is probably one of the coolest, yet informative, videos I've ever seen. But, it does make me feel insignificant. People in the real world worry about their phones and the latest update on their favorite celebrity, when really that celebrity or that phone is nothing but the teensiest speck of nothing. As we are. This video really made me realize that the things in outer space, most of it unknown to man, is bigger than all the planets combined. This video causes us, as humans, to realize how small we are to the universe when we're feeling down. In conclusion, this video really taught me a lot and I feel as if everyone in the world should see it as well.

ReplyDeleteThere are any invention’s out there in the world. With billions of people, it’s kind of hard to keep track of all of them. Therefore, I have decided to to use this video since it seems to have a few of the newest innovations in technology I’m sure most of you have never known about. I stumbled across this youtuber, Future HD, while I was looking at a new advance in Nanotechnology. I would recommend this channel to anyone who enjoys looking at new and interesting technology. The video’s I have watched in channel, including this one, has no cursing, and I think that they are mostly very interesting.
DeleteAnyway, I believe this is a quite interesting video in particular because of the new innovation’s mentioned. The first one is quite interesting since it saves passcodes in a small device and allows people to unlock their phone and other electronic device just by being in proximity to the device. That’s pretty neat. It also means that the small device has to connect to the other device other than using wifi since it can’t do that unless they are at home. It can also unlock your door and I didn’t know things like that even existed. I mean, I can understand turning on lights and other things like that but it’s almost impossible to unlock your front door with your phone or other device! This is completely new and I’m guessing that there's probably some other small device you’ll have to install in the lock of your door for it to work. Otherwise, I have no idea how it’s even possible to do that. You can also install the small thing in something such as your car key or attach it to the backside of your phone. Even if you lose it, it’s no problem since you can freeze it mobily so no one else can access the passwords. That’s a cool feature.
The next amazing invention is the magic cord. I have to admit, it’s quite neat that you could possibly attach an android phone to an iphone and transfer the battery power to whatever phone you need to transfer it to. It would also come in handy if you were at a friends house. If you had an iphone and they had an android phone, the chargers would obviously be different and you wouldn’t be able to connect the charger to the plug part. With the magic cord though, you could connect it easily and even convert a usb charger to a micro usb. It’s quite helpful indeed. You could even charge your camera with your phone if you need to. Quite helpful if you’re low on battery.
Now we’re onto the new flying camera machine. I know a lot of machines like that already exist but what makes this innovation unique is that you can use your phone to control it and put it on autopilot if you want to. Other machine’s, you’d have to control it manually. This follows you wherever you go when you activate it and can avoid all obstacles. It also has a new smile detector so it takes an automatic picture when you smile at the picture. That is quite new. The next invention is the new compatible lightsaber parts. Although this invention has no practical use, it’s amazing since it allows people to use a variety of parts and connect them no matter the combination using a simple kit. It’s like a mini engineering kit. It also gives the creator freedom on the choice of the color of the saber, the style, if it’s being dual wielded, and it even can detect if you hit another surface or not and can make a multitude of sounds depending on the action and movement of the blade.
The final innovation baffles me. It just plain baffles me. It is a pen that allows you to draw in the air! I can’t even begin to comprehend how that is possible to make. You would need to have a special ink that hardens as soon as it is out of the pen and it must be done very cautiously since if you disturb it slightly, it will be broken. I don’t understand why you would need it to plug it into your computer, maybe to charge it. Anyway, I just wanted to share this video because it was really intriguing learning about these new innovation. It was cool since I’m sure not one of you probably knew about any of these inventions. This is why I chose this video.
#2: Nithin’s video was so interesting. Some of these technologies I thought weren’t even possible. The pen that could doodle in the air, That was so cool. When I saw it I was so shocked. I never realized how far technology has advanced. I’m so impressed, I want all of these, from the Everkey to the Magicable. They all are so useful and show how far we have advanced in our pursuit to better ourselves technologically.

ReplyDeleteThis video, I personally believe, means quite a bit to me. I am sorry beforehand if this video offends anyone, or if anyone does not agree with what is being said in this video. I apologize beforehand. However, I chose this video for my topic in my blog this month because this video is something that I can relate to, and also an issue that I am very passionate about. Now, the title of this video is “RESPONSE TO RACIST BRAMPTON GIRL”, and it was created by one of my all-time favorite YouTubers, Lily Singh, who goes by the persona of Superwoman. Now, I have been watching Superwoman for about the last six years, and she is one of the most positive influences on YouTube that I have ever seen. I absolutely love her “One Love”approach to life, and I feel that if you are going to be an influence upon the world, might as well be a positive one. Anyway, in the entire time that I have watched Superwoman’s videos, I have noticed that she does not, as a rule, call people out or make mean spirited videos. That is one trait that I actually really admire about her, because, although this video was posted in 2012, it is so easy for people to get upset over a topic or person, and just respond with more hate and negativity. There is already enough of that in this world. Why not spread a little more understanding and happiness instead? Everyone should have the chance to be happy, and I truly believe that. Now, one of the reasons as to why I chose this video out of all the videos I could have chosen is because it deals with the topic of people of different religions and cultures living and interacting together in the same place. Whether that place be a school, a town, a country, whatever. It is 2016, and although it has been four years since that video has come out, we still have a long way to go before the world is truly non-judgemental. And I am a realistic person, and I am well aware that only in an ideal world would we live in complete peace and harmony. I am aware of that. But, I still hope. Another reason as to why I chose this video in particular is because it hits a little close to home for me. Basically, in this video, Lily respond to a video that a sixteen year old girl made about how there are too many brown people in the area of Brampton where she lives, and how they are all terrorists. That is basically the gist of what is said in the video, and Lily made a response to that (the link above). This hits a little close to home for me because, although I am not Indian, which is the major group of people that the sixteen year old was discriminating against, I do fall in the “brown” or “desi” people category, and I am also a Muslim. Now, with all the recent talk going on about ISIS and the terrorists in the Middle East, I have been called a terrorist and ridiculed for being a Muslim. I just do not let that stop me from being proud of who I am. Anyway, for those few reasons, I chose this video to talk about in this month’s blog, and I do hope that whoever watches it can get a positive message out of the video.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw the RACIST BRAMPTON GIRL video, I was shocked at the fact the people can get racist to the point that they can start make videos that no sensible person would agree. The problem is not the girl itself. She did not make this opinion of the race of people by herself. She learned from people around her and used the opinions that they had to make her own. People who give her hate should also realize that yelling at her would not solve the problem. We have to correct the opinion of the environment that she lives in so that people like her do not have opinions again. I also feel that if people who are racist like this see the true face of a particular race, then they will not be racist. This is my opinion and I do not mean to disrespect anyone.
DeleteOkay, first of all, I completely relate to Hifza because I have been watching Superwoman since the begging and I love her so much. She has influenced me a lot and sometimes if I am struggling with something, her videos help me focus, and calm down a little. So yes, Lilly Singh is a big part of my life, and I am proud to be a part of her Unicorn world. Now, I saw both the girl and Lilly's video so it is easy for me to understand everything. I am completely shaken by the way Superwoman reacted. If I were in that position, I would be a 'Joe' and start either defending myself since I am brown and Indian or I would start saying bad things about her. Neither are good, I should take in what she says and think about it. This way everything would be more peaceful instead of just saying negative things about each other. Superwoman not only gives good advice, but she gives advice that we can take in, and understand so that we implement the advice into our lives. This is one of the many reasons I love Superwoman, and this video did kind of wake me up and helped me realize what I should do the next time a 'fireball' is thrown at me.

ReplyDeleteI chose this video about animal abuse because it really affected me, and touched my heart when I saw it. When we think about pets, we think of cute, cuddly, adorable creatures that are a mans best friend. I know I personally would never think about doing anything to upset my pet, especially, beating it! This video has pictures of animals that were abused by their owners. They have scars, and cuts everywhere! After watching it, I felt so bad and guilty for the pets, because now that I think about it, if were ever chained to a pole hoping that someone would come and play with me, I would feel left out, and depressed. I know some people that have pets, and I see them giving the pet food only if they do a trick, or sit down. Now, imagine being given food only if you sit upside down, or roll around. Another thing that I cannot imagine happening is seeing food in front of my face, being waved around. Every time I go to take a bite the food is snatched away from me. That is what happens to a dog, and a , cat, everyday. As I type this, I am getting goosebumps, and my eyes are tearing. It is so sad, I could never imagine being that cruel to my pet. So, all in all, I chose this video because it really affects my life, and changes the way I live, and think. This is so depressing, and if anyone know anything about animal cruelty, I highly suggest you to report it to a police. This is it for now folks, I hope this video also affects you. DeleteThat video really hit me hard. For me, though, it hurt me more than others because I have a pet cat, who my family has had for thirteen years. To know that people all around the world are beating and abusing animals fun almost no reason, or because they do not want a pet is terrible. No animal deserves to be treated like that no matter what the animal could have possibly done. Animals should be treated just like humans; with respect, love, and kindness. Animals are living things, and should be treated as if they were the world. What those animals in the video went through is probably things that we never thought anyone would do to such things. I am a sucker for pets, and not know that an animal that I could have been taking care of was being abused is just heart breaking. We need to spread love for animals all over the world more, and make greater efforts to save those pets whose lives are at steak. This video definitely brought tears to my eyes, and made me feel as if I was one of those animals who felt hopeless. Whoever did such things to those animals should be put in jail for the rest of their lives, and be tied up to a pole and treated like these animals will. I just hope that some day these terrible people will go away and leave innocent lives alone.

DeleteI've seen countless videos and commercials for animals being abused but this one was different in a way. These types of videos always get to me. The total neglect and abuse given to these animals daily really breaks my heart. I see animals just as human as we are and when people so ignorantly ignore that fact, it makes me wonder if people are heartless. Although animals technically aren't humans they should be treated like them. They breathe, eat, sleep, walk, run, play, and do everything else that we do, so, why abuse and neglect these adorable creatures? The pictures were so graphic and real for me that I felt we should be making more effort to help them. How would we feel if we were caged all day, beaten daily, starved, and neglected by the ones we thought loved us? That's exactly how I imagine these poor animals feeling. I strongly pray that these animals, that are fighting for their lives every minute of the day, are treated amazing soon and horrible people that commit these disgusting crimes realize what they're doing and stop immediately.

Did you watch the video? Okay, now I would like to give my views on the subject. First of all, it was very interesting the way he did his experiment. I think that this type of creativity, and the location he chose was very important for this type of experiment to be a success. Now to start with the actual content itself.
Right away, I would like to point out that this video proves that most Americans think that the statements that are made by our politicians are very controversial. To just say that a wide range of people are all Druglords is just outrageous. Moreover, I also want to point out, that not a single person in the video felt that these immigrants are what politicians claim them to be.
I really don’t want to give out what happens in the video, so I would like to conclude by saying this- After watching this video, I know that all of you will realize how bad-mouthed this type of people are.

DeleteThis video that Raj speaks of talks about an important issue impacting American's everywhere. There have always been stereotypes for different races of people. As long as people are different, there will be stereotypes. Now that a specific candidate is running for office, the stereotypes on different immigrants have been turned in to a type of mild prejudice. The fact that all immigrants are now viewed as rapists and bad people are not fair to them. This whole country is based on immigrants since it started off with the colonization from Britain to America. This video reminds us of how people are not what they seem to be or how stereotypes view them. This is why I like this video.

DeleteThis video that Raj has chosen is one that I enjoyed because it talks about some of the issues that have come up more commonly in today's day and age, especially with the influences of the recent election still here. The experiment that this man did in public and his intentions for conducting it have some special significance to me. Stereotypes are hard to break through once they have been established, and even harder when there is a negative influence instigating these assumptions. This video reminds us of the fact that a majority of Americans have immigrated here from different countries. That is the aesthetic of America. The fact that it is comprised of so many different cultures, races, and religions is the whole ideal that makes it special. Once we start applying these stereotypes to everyone that we meet that is somewhat different, we will be reduced to nothing but a country full hate. This experiment proves that on some level, there are people who refuse to simply believe the stereotypes that they have been fed. That is why I enjoyed this video. It reached across boundaries and opened up a new discussion. A positive one.

This video shows some of the things that many people think about these certain races. There is a specific candidate named Donald Trump that says these things about the immigrants. It is very unfair for a race or something like that to be judged on something that is not necessarily true. These people who went up to the guy showed that they did not believe those stereotypes. In the end, everyone in this country is an immigrant so for the people who think that these stereotypes are true, would you call yourself those things.

ReplyDeleteI chose this article because it speaks about a prominent issue in politics with women. It mentions how ambitious women in politics this day and age aren’t appreciated as much as men. I also chose it because it directly mentions the forthcoming presidential election. It is between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton is the first woman to ever be nominated by a major party in the presidential elections. The article is summarizing an interview between Obama and a CNN correspondent. She asked Obama what he thinks would be the equivelent to ‘your not born in the country’ to a complaint about a women for not being qualified to be a president. He said people might think they are to moody, and to emotional, and tired. This really made me think since I realized that a lot of people might not be thrilled about a female president. Just because she is a girl and might not be the exact same as a man. Many people might complain about Hillary for this. Sadly, Obama even admits that just for that Trump might win.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever done a good deed for someone or something? Without anyone one telling or asking you too? How about doing it everyday? And to top it all off, doing more than 1 everyday because you wanted to, still doing everything else you do in a day, and not getting anything for return? I'm not calling anyone a liar, but, I've never seen, or heard of, someone doing such an amazing thing. Some people say they're generous when they give someone a dollar or retrieve something for a friend or family member, but in my opinion, that is just being nice. Rarely, and I mean almost never, will I use the word "generous" to describe someone, but this video, is an outstanding exception.
DeleteThe video I have chosen is a great example of a generous and completely self-less person whom I greatly admire, even if it is a scripted video and I've never met the people included in it. I have seen this video multiple times, in school (7th and 8th grade) , while browsing social media, specifically YouTube, from others. Pretty much all around. Even though I have seen it multiple times and cry like a baby every time, I think everyone should watch and recommend it to everyone they know. I think it's amazing, again, and that so many more people could understand it, possibly connect to it, and apply it to their lives immediately. Being generous and a kind, self-less human-being truly is motivational, especially when you see, or know, someone like this. It makes you want to act just like them. If this were to happen, everyone being kind, self-less, and performing acts of kindness, the world would be a much better place. The video starts with a man walking down the street and water starts pouring on him from a pipe above his head. He then puts a plant there so it waters the plant and doesn't get on anyone else. After that, a woman is having trouble pushing her cart on top of a curb, so, the man comes over and helps her get the cart up. Then, while eating lunch, a dog runs up to him, and the man gives him his food. A man standing nearby just shakes his head. After lunch, the man is walking on the sidewalk again when he sees a mother and daughter, sitting on cardboard, and asking for money so the young daughter can get an education. The man generously gives them what looks like over $100. A different man nearby shakes his head. The man then, I guessing, goes home and puts a bag of bananas on an old lady's door on the way. Then the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that goes by, and the man continues to do those same things everyday. But, the woman with the cart gets a bit mad when he doesn't come quick enough, the men standing by still shake their heads, the dog doesn't know any better, no one knows who he is or thanks him for the water, and the old woman still takes the bananas, but, doesn't know who it is. The only people left would be the mother and daughter. As for them, one day, he goes to give them money again, and the mother is there with the cup, but without the daughter. So you're probably thinking, "Oh my gosh, the daughter is dead", but then she comes walking on the sidewalk, in a uniform, with a backpack, and she looks so adorable. That right there, is what the man got in return. The satisfaction that he did something good, and the happiness he received and thankfullness. Moral of the story, you don't always have to get something in return for being a good human-being. But in the case of that, you'd get the gift of emotion, thankfulness, and happiness from others. And as the video says, "receives what money can't buy".

DeleteI really like this video because it shows how a little act of kindness can really go a long way. It was interesting to see that the universal concept of compassion and generosity is carried along to the rest of the world too. I think that people really need to see how little effort it takes to open your heart and be nice, because we don’t see much of that anymore. People need to understand that although you don’t get money, or a materialistic reward, you do get the pleasure of seeing a smile on someone else’s face as well as feeling joy that you helped someone. In our world today, people are greedy, selfish and ungrateful. They do not realize that doing something nice on a consistent basis, no matter how small, can change a person’s life. The smile on the little’s girl’s face at the end was contagious and it went to show how much the man had affected her life.
